Why Do you Need a Survey?
If you are buying a property, a survey will tell you the actual condition of the property you are purchasing. On average, the repair bill for new homeowners is £5,750. Allowing us to complete a comprehensive survey on your new home will mean that these repairs can be found before you commit to the purchase. It may also be possible re-negotiate the price with the estate agent prior to exchange of contracts.
It is important to note that a mortgage lender’s valuation report is NOT a survey.
